Congratulations to our outstanding researchers who were granted “Proof of Concept” grant from the European Research Council (ERC), the only two from Turkey this year. Asst. Prof. Mehmet Cengiz Onbaşlı from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics Departments with his “SuperPHOTON (2D Topological Superconducting Single Photon Detector Devices)”, aims to produce and commercialize highly sensitive new quantum light sensors, one of the most important research areas of the 21st century. #ERCPoC
