The Office of the Vice-President for Research and Developement is responsible for Koç University’s research policies, with a specific goal to significantly increase externally sponsored research and strengthen Koç University’s position in research.
The following offices report to the VPRD:

  • The Technology Transfer Office Directorate supports our members in all project management, finance, reporting, intellectual property rights and licensing processes throughout the life cycle of new research projects.

Koç University’s Ethics Committees serve to design, conduct, record, and report scientific and ethical standards and protect the rights of volunteers and related issues in the research process. This is done in the framework of universal ethical principles of all research conducted by members of Koç University research community.
