International research collaboration is one of the priorities of Koç University to ensure our research contributes to development on a global scale. There are several ways in which our faculty can collaborate with colleagues and groups abroad to develop projects, events and other research collaboration activities.

The university provides support to faculty members who wish to establish cooperation activities with one of our 200+ university and industry partners. Some of the ways to do this include:

• Visiting Scholar Program
• Koç – Harvard Visiting Scholar Program
• Travel and Organization support for project development activities
• Membership in international university alliances and research networks
  
• Support from the Office of International Programs to identify and evaluate research collaboration opportunities with our existing partner universities
• Individual College or Graduate School support for organizing research collaboration conferences and seminars
• Participation of faculty and staff in over 200 international conferences and symposia every year
• Organization of over 50 scientific events at Koç University with international participants
• Participation of faculty in European research network events and fora
• Travel support grants to our doctoral students to participate in international conferences
